Not 2 Day

Darling Husband and I went for a lovely drive after weeding and planting flowers and more herbs. Darling Husband thinks I should race cars...since I enjoy driving so fast...this tag was seen at the track...nope, not racing cars 2 day...not doing anything adventurous 2 day...Mercury is in Retrograde...it is highly recommended that one uses extreme caution whilst transporting and communicating or beginning new projects during this planetary alignment or misalignment...do I believe the planets have a direct influence on our lives...verdict out on that one...let us just say...many coincidences do occur when the Moon is full or the Moon is void of course or Mercury turns Retrograde...just sayin...

I really, really like this tag!

There is a class for anyone who wants to race from weekend warriors in Hondas to Formula One type cars. I saw several Porsches outfitted with roll bars for racing. A spin/burn out pit is kept wet for practice...sure wish I had known about that when I spun my Boxster round and round and round...nobody was hurt, car was good...crazy scary! May take the new car in there for a test spin...

Husband pretending to be Mario Andretti...his ear looks huge from this angle.

Ahhh...the glamorous life I lead...

In case you are wondering (and even if you are not) this was my hood ornament...poor guy was hanging on for dear life when I noticed him.
He began crawling to the front of the car near the windshield with feet hanging on like suction cups and tail flying over his head. Lest you worry about our little lizard's fate...yes I did...I pulled over and gently prodded him to the safety of the woods.
Thank goodness he was riding on the Grandma Car...it would have been too bad so sad if my alter ego was driving the other car, course he might of landed in the car with me which may have induced a slight freak out! What is your driving style...fast, speed limit, cautious, radio loud, car dancing, singing or circumspect? Do you brake for turtles, frogs or squirrels? Do you ever drive just to enjoy the journey rather than racing to the destination? Do tell...inquiring minds want to know...

LOVE the lizard!! Also, is that POLLEN I see on the car under the lizard? I haven't seen any of that in a while, I'm starting to forget what it looks like! I never imagined Spring without pollen, but it's kind of nice...

I always wondered if, after getting stuck on or in my car, the insect finally gets out and thinks "where the heck am I???"

We play this sick game with bugs that are on the windshield, see how fast we can get going before they fly off. I do brake for turtles and other animals.

I think the lizard is trying to sell you car insurance. ;-)
The hat is FABULOUS!

I would always prefer a chauffeur to driving myself. If I do drive I like to "dance" and listen to the radio and taunt my GPS :) but I don't go far usually. If hubby is driving, I just want him to keep going and going... the longer the drive the better.

nice job on saving the lizard...

as for saving creature...funny you should mention it. last summer on our road trip, we pulled off the interstate for gasoline in some tiny nothing town in TN. as i drove down the ramp, i spotted something ahead, on the double line in the center of the road. it was a TURTLE. i was so sad and didn't want anyone to run it over...but i was too afraid to get out and encourage it to move. the turtle was HUGE. anthony was like, "oh, just go push him along with your shoe!" i was like, "oh, right. you first, batman."

we actually had a small spat about the turtle. to this day i wonder what became of him.

Ah, but that glamorous photo of you! =)

You've a kind heart, Connie, freeing the lizard from its speedy experience.

Glamorous AND kind, can it get any better?!

I like the little lizard though! I spend so much time lizard hunting whenever I holiday in a hot country. (Think anywhere other than England!) :o)
