Mike and Rhetta take a spin while I stand on the deck and watch...what is wrong with this picture???
Ding, ding, ding...you are right I AM NOT in the plane! I allowed my fear of heights and tight places to keep me grounded. Our gracious host piloted any guest that desired a ride! Literally, I am not afraid of flying...I just prefer larger aircraft! Figuratively, I am often afraid of "flying"... moving outside the zone which is comfortable and secure. I am kinda tired of taking the safe, easy way. Ask me again...I will say YES!
YES to flying in teeny, tiny aircraft...YES to taking new adventures...all EXCEPT the ones involving bridges and elastic cords.
What about you? Are you planning something adventuresome, something new, something exciting? Do tell!

I wish I was more adventurous but I'm not :o( I'm the 'stand on the sidelines and watch' type of gal...
I still remember my 10th birthday. My father took us for a ride on a little 4-seater and since I was the "birthday girl" I got the privilege of flying in front...except the doors were SO BIG and I just had visions of them flying open mid-air and me being sucked out.
So I sat in the back and Sean sat in the front.
To this day, I wish I had been brave enough to sit in the front and have been making it up, ever since then, by rocking the heck out of roller coasters!
Hopefully, you'll get another opportunity. :)
That's a great photo. But I wouldn't have gone on such a small plane either.
As for adventures, trying to get financing for Michael's film project is about as much adventure as we can stomach right now.
The picture is brilliant! I am not good under water and I was on an orienteering course and we had to take to the water in a canoe and do an eskimo roll! I did do it but dignity went out of the window with my arms flailing all over the place... I nearly took to the skies in a canoe! I'll not mention the foaming from the mouth and tears and snot all over the place... you don't need to know that bit. hehe
I was very adventurous. Nothing seems to excite me much anymore. It's the little things that make me happy now! Love Di ♥
As a matter of fact, we do have something new planned for this weekend--sailing in Beaufort, NC. My sister-in-law Lisa planned everything, and she is encouraging everyone to go snorkeling once we get to this island. Maybe I will and maybe I won't. I'm more of a gawker.
